Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Nobily roller shutter motors into my Home Assistant setup. I’ve been using Mediola gateways for a while now, but I ran into some initial issues with the Nobily motors not showing up correctly in HA. After some troubleshooting, I managed to get everything working smoothly!
First, I checked the Mediola gateway logs to ensure it was detecting the Nobily motors. Once I confirmed the gateway was seeing them, I realized I needed to configure the devices properly in HA. I used the Z-Wave section in the HA settings to add the motors as new devices, which worked like a charm.
Here are a few tips for anyone looking to integrate Nobily motors:
- Make sure your gateway is up to date with the latest firmware.
- Double-check the pairing process to ensure the motors are correctly linked to the gateway.
- If you’re using Z-Wave, give the devices some time to fully integrate.
It’s been a great addition to my setup, and I’m thrilled to have my roller shutters fully automated! ![]()
On another note, I just updated my H6057 night lights following the recent firmware update. I wasn’t initially aware of the update, but I’m glad I checked—performance has improved significantly! Always good to keep those devices up to date.
Thanks to everyone in the community for the helpful tips and support. Happy automating! ![]()
