Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with integrating my Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 with a Keso 81.K16 lock, which has a Priority function. Initially, I was a bit concerned because I read that Nuki locks might not fully support Priority function locks. However, after some testing and research, I found a workaround that works perfectly!
First, I used the Nuki website’s installation check tool, which confirmed that my lock is fully compatible. Even though my Keso lock doesn’t turn the same way on both sides, I discovered that I can still manually unlock it from the outside while using the key on the inside. This was a bit of a relief!
To make the integration smoother, I reached out to the Nuki support team and suggested allowing users to override the lock state if needed. While I haven’t heard back yet, I think this feature would be incredibly helpful for others in similar situations.
For anyone else trying to integrate a Priority function lock with Nuki, here are a few tips:
- Always start with the installation check on the Nuki website.
- If you encounter any issues, try manually unlocking the door first before using the smart lock feature.
- Don’t hesitate to reach out to support for additional guidance.
It’s been a great experience overall, and I’m thrilled to have my smart lock working seamlessly with my existing hardware. I hope this helps someone else who might be facing a similar challenge! If you have any questions or tips of your own, feel free to share them below. Happy smart locking! ![]()
