Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success in getting my RGBIC lights to work seamlessly with Siri. Initially, I was a bit puzzled when I tried to add my RGBIC devices to the Home app, as it kept saying there were no devices available. After a bit of research and some trial and error, I figured out the solution and thought I’d walk through it here in case anyone else is facing the same issue.First, I made sure that my RGBIC lights were properly paired with my HomeKit setup. I had to ensure that the firmware on the RGBIC devices was up to date, which I did through the RGBIC app. Once that was sorted, I realized that the issue might be with how I was trying to add them to the Home app. I discovered that instead of trying to add them directly through the Home app, it worked better to set them up through the RGBIC app first and then let the Home app automatically detect them.After setting them up in the RGBIC app, I gave it a few minutes for everything to sync. Then, I opened the Home app and was pleasantly surprised to see my RGBIC lights listed under the ‘Add Accessories’ section. I followed the prompts to add them, and voilà! They were now fully integrated into my HomeKit ecosystem.Now, I can easily control them with Siri. For example, I can say, ‘Hey Siri, turn on the living room lights’ or ‘Hey Siri, set the kitchen lights to 50% brightness.’ It’s been a game-changer for how I manage my smart home setup.I also wanted to mention that I reached out to the RGBIC support team during this process, and they were incredibly helpful. They provided some troubleshooting tips that were essential in getting everything set up correctly.If anyone else is having trouble with their RGBIC lights and Siri integration, I’d recommend checking the firmware first, ensuring the devices are properly paired through the RGBIC app, and then letting the Home app do its thing.
