I’ve recently had a fantastic experience setting up my smart home using Shelly devices along with a smart thermostat. It’s been a journey of learning and discovery, and I’m thrilled to share my positive experience with the community.Starting with the basics, I decided to go with Shelly 1 PM for controlling my lights and outlets. The setup was straightforward—just plug them in and connect via the Shelly app. The integration with Home Assistant was seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything works together.One of the highlights of my setup is the smart thermostat. It’s been a game-changer for managing my home’s temperature efficiently. The app allows me to adjust settings remotely, and the thermostat learns my preferences over time, making it incredibly convenient.I also wanted to share a helpful tip I came across while organizing my configuration files. Using a clear and consistent naming convention for each device has made managing my setup much easier. For example, naming my lights as ‘LivingRoom_Light1’ instead of just ‘Light1’ helps me quickly identify and manage them in the app.This experience has reignited my passion for smart home automation, and I’m excited to explore more possibilities in the future.
