Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success in integrating my smart cameras across two different homes. I have two sets of cameras at my primary residence and a vacation home, each with its own Wi-Fi system. I was looking for a way to combine these into one cohesive system, but it seemed a bit overwhelming at first.
After some research and trial and error, I found that using a VPN helped bridge the gap between the two Wi-Fi networks. This allowed me to access all my cameras from a single interface, making monitoring much more convenient.
One tip I’d like to share is ensuring that both Wi-Fi systems have consistent naming conventions and strong, secure passwords. It might seem simple, but it made a huge difference in the setup process.
