I’ve been on a quest to create the ultimate movie-watching experience in my home theater, and I’m thrilled to share my journey and success with the community! 
For months, I’ve been experimenting with different lighting setups to achieve that perfect ambiance. I stumbled upon the idea of using hexagon-shaped light panels, specifically the Hexa Pro, to frame my TV. The goal was to create a dreamy, immersive environment that enhances the viewing experience without being too overwhelming.
Initially, I faced some challenges. I wasn’t sure how to position the panels—should they be above, below, or on the sides of the TV? After some research and trial and error, I settled on placing them symmetrically above and below the TV. This setup not only complements the TV’s shape but also distributes the light evenly, creating a stunning visual effect.
The real magic happened when I integrated these lights into my smart home ecosystem. Using my hub, I programmed the lights to automatically adjust based on the time of day and the type of content I’m watching. For example, during the day, the lights dim slightly to reduce glare, while at night, they brighten to match the movie’s mood. I even set up color transitions that sync with the movie’s scenes, adding an extra layer of immersion.
One of the most rewarding parts of this project was discovering how versatile these lights are. They’re not just for movies—they’ve become a beautiful centerpiece for my living room, adding a touch of elegance during everyday use. I’ve also experimented with different color schemes for holidays and special occasions, which has been a lot of fun!
