Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating some smart plugs with my SmartThings hub. I recently purchased two GE On/Off Light and Small Appliance Modules (ZW4101) and was excited to get them working with my existing setup. However, I ran into a bit of a snag when trying to pair them with my SmartThings hub. The devices were previously paired with a Digital Life system, and I wasn’t sure if they could be re-paired without going through the Digital Life platform. After some research and reaching out to the community, I found that it was possible to unpair the devices and then successfully add them to my SmartThings hub. The key was to ensure the devices were fully reset and then follow the SmartThings setup process carefully. I’m thrilled to have them integrated now and enjoying the convenience they bring to my smart home setup. If anyone else is looking to do something similar, I’d recommend checking out the forums for tips on unpairing and re-pairing devices. It’s a bit of a process, but well worth it in the end!
