Successfully Integrating SmartThings Devices After Update

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience after updating my Home Assistant installation. I upgraded from version 103.4 to 104.1 and encountered some issues with my SmartThings devices. Initially, all my devices became unavailable, which was quite concerning. However, I managed to resolve the issue by reverting to a previous snapshot and then carefully updating again. Here’s how I did it:

  1. Identify the Issue: After the update, I noticed that my SmartThings devices were offline. I checked the logs and found some connection errors, which indicated a potential compatibility issue post-update.

  2. Revert to Snapshot: I decided to use a snapshot from before the update to restore my system. This brought everything back to version 103.4, and thankfully, my SmartThings devices were back online.

  4. Reconfiguration: I found that some integrations needed reconfiguration after the update. I manually reconnected each device and ensured that all credentials were up to date.
