- Reset the Sensor: Press and hold the sensor’s button until the LED starts flashing.
- Open Hubitat: Go to the Hubitat app and navigate to the device discovery section.
- Pair the Sensor: While Hubitat is scanning, press and hold the sensor’s button again until you see a confirmation on the Hubitat app.
- Assign to Room: Once paired, assign the sensor to the appropriate room for easier management.
Tips for Success
- Timing is Everything: Make sure the sensor is in pairing mode exactly when Hubitat starts scanning.
- Check Signal Strength: Ensure there’s no interference between the sensor and the Hubitat hub.
- Be Patient: Sometimes it takes a few attempts, but persistence pays off!
