I learned that using Docker simplified the installation and management process. - Device Handling: The SmartThings device handler was a bit tricky at first, but once configured, it worked seamlessly. I recommend testing each device individually before moving on to the next. - Automation: Setting up automations in Home Assistant was a breeze once the devices were correctly integrated. I started with simple routines and gradually added more complex ones. The Outcome The result is a cohesive smart home ecosystem that’s both powerful and user-friendly. I can now control all my devices from a single interface, set up sophisticated automations, and monitor everything in real-time.
