Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with integrating a non-smart light bulb into my SmartThings system. I’ve been really impressed with how much I can do with SmartThings, but I hit a snag when I wanted to add a Sengled light bulb with a backup battery. It wasn’t a smart bulb, but I really wanted to control it through my system. After a bit of research, I found a solution using a smart plug! By plugging the bulb into a smart plug connected to SmartThings, I can now turn it on and off remotely. It’s been a game-changer for my setup. I’d love to hear if anyone else has similar experiences or tips for integrating non-smart devices into their systems.
