Hi everyone! I recently decided to automate my motorized blinds using the Sonoff Mini R4, and I thought I’d share my experience in case it helps anyone else. Initially, I was a bit confused about the wiring setup, especially since I’m in Austria where the wiring colors are a bit different from what I’ve seen in some tutorials. After watching a few videos, I understood that both live wires (black in Austria) should be connected to L out and L In, while the neutral (blue) wires go to N. But I was still unsure about how to connect the dual switch properly. I reached out to the community here, and someone kindly explained that the dual switch should be connected to the Sonoff’s load terminals. I followed their advice, and it worked perfectly! Now, I can control my blinds with my smartphone or through my smart home app. It’s amazing how much easier it makes my life, especially on sunny days when I want to adjust the blinds without getting up. If anyone else is looking to do something similar, I’d recommend checking out the wiring diagrams on the Sonoff forum and don’t hesitate to ask for help here if you get stuck. Happy automating!
