Successfully Integrating Wyze Cam Pan V3 for Camping Adventures

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Wyze Cam Pan V3 and how it’s transformed my camping trips! :evergreen_tree::sparkles:

So, my boyfriend and I love camping in the woods behind our house. It’s a fantastic spot, but with deer and other wildlife around, I always feel a bit uneasy. That’s why I decided to bring along the Wyze Cam Pan V3 to keep an eye on things while we’re asleep. :male_detective::male_sign:

I have a 64GB SD card in the camera, which I thought would be perfect for storing footage. But wait, there’s no Wi-Fi in the forest! That’s where things got tricky. I had so many questions: Can I view the live feed without Wi-Fi? Does the Wyze Cam have its own Wi-Fi like some other cameras? If Wi-Fi is required, how can I use a hotspot to view the live feed? And what happens if the power goes out and there’s no Wi-Fi available?

After some research and reaching out to the community, I found some great solutions! Turns out, the Wyze Cam Pan V3 doesn’t have its own Wi-Fi, but you can use a mobile hotspot to connect it. I set up a hotspot on my phone, and voilà! I could monitor the feed from the comfort of my tent. :signal_strength:

For power, I made sure to bring a reliable battery pack. It’s been working perfectly, and I haven’t had any issues with the camera shutting down. Plus, the SD card is holding up well, storing hours of footage. :movie_camera:

This setup has given me so much peace of mind. I can now enjoy the great outdoors without worrying about unexpected visitors. Plus, it’s been a fun project to figure out how everything works together. :rocket:

If anyone else is looking to use their Wyze Cam for camping or similar scenarios, I’d be happy to share more tips or troubleshoot any issues you might encounter. Happy camping! :star2:
