Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Wyze cameras and a Yale Z-Wave lock into my Home Assistant setup. It’s been a journey, but I’m thrilled with how everything is working together now! 
I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and while they’re great for basic surveillance, I was having some issues with false alerts and event capturing beyond the detection zone. After some research and reaching out to the community, I found that adjusting the camera settings and ensuring the detection zone was properly configured made a huge difference. The cameras are now much more reliable, and I’m not getting those annoying false alerts anymore. 
On the Yale Z-Wave lock front, I’ve been struggling with location-aware actions not working as expected. Despite setting up both my phone and smart presence key fob, the lock wasn’t opening when it should. After some troubleshooting, I realized that the issue was with how the location services were configured on my devices. Once I adjusted the settings and ensured that all devices were properly synced, the lock started working seamlessly. It’s such a relief to have this feature up and running! 
For anyone looking to integrate multiple devices from different brands, I’d highly recommend taking the time to thoroughly configure each one and test their interactions within Home Assistant. The community here is amazing, and the wealth of information available has been invaluable in helping me get everything set up.
