After some time and effort, I managed to successfully integrate my Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller with my VeraEdge system. I wanted to use button 4 to trigger a specific scene (#31), and it was quite a journey to get everything set up correctly. Let me share my experience in case it helps anyone else!
First, I configured the wall controller’s device options. I set Variables 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, and 14 to 4, which I believe corresponds to button 4. Then, I set up the scene in Vera’s menu to trigger when button 4 is pressed. Initially, nothing happened, which was a bit frustrating.
I reached out to the community, and someone suggested checking the configurations again. I realized that while I had set the variables correctly, I hadn’t properly linked the scene in the wall controller’s menu. Once I adjusted that, everything started working smoothly!
Now, pressing button 4 on my wall controller activates scene #31, which perfectly fits my home automation needs. It’s great to have this integration working without any issues. If anyone else is struggling with similar setups, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help!
