Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with integrating both outdoor and indoor Wyze cameras. Initially, I was a bit confused about whether I needed entirely new setups for the indoor camera or if I could link it to my existing outdoor one. After some research and trial and error, I found that it’s indeed possible to associate them without major rewiring!
Here’s what I did: I ensured both cameras were on the same network and updated to the latest firmware. Then, through the Wyze app, I selected the indoor camera under the outdoor device settings. It took a couple of attempts, but they finally connected seamlessly!
This setup has been a lifesaver, especially for keeping an eye on my puppy while I’m away. The integration allows for consistent monitoring and easy access from one interface. I’m thrilled with how it turned out and would recommend this approach to anyone looking to expand their camera coverage without complicating their setup.
