Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with pairing my Schlage lock to the 2Gig panel. Initially, I was a bit frustrated because the process wasn’t going smoothly. I followed the instructions: putting the panel in add device mode, entering the master code, and pressing the Schlage button, but it just wouldn’t pair. The panel would blink as if trying, but nothing happened. I even updated the firmware to the latest version, but still no luck.After some research and trial and error, I discovered that sometimes the distance between the lock and the panel can affect the pairing. I moved closer, within 3 feet, and tried again. This time, it worked! The Schlage lock successfully paired with the panel. It was a bit of a puzzle, but persistence paid off.I thought I’d share this in case anyone else is having similar issues. Sometimes, it’s the little things like adjusting the distance that make all the difference. I’m now enjoying the convenience of my smart lock integrated with my security system.
