Hello everyone! I wanted to share my experience with pairing two Woox R7060 devices. Initially, I faced some challenges, but I managed to resolve them, and I thought it might be helpful to share my journey here.
I’ve been using a Woox R7060 for quite some time now, and I must say, I’m really happy with its performance. It’s reliable, and the integration with my smart home setup has been seamless. Recently, I decided to add a second one to expand my coverage. However, when I tried to pair the second device, I encountered some issues. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get both devices to work simultaneously. I tested swapping the devices, thinking maybe there was a hardware issue, but the problem persisted.
After some research and reaching out to the community, I discovered that the issue might be related to the network configuration. I decided to reset my network and start fresh. Here’s what I did:
- Reset the Network: I restarted my router and the ConBee II gateway to ensure everything was on the same page.
- Clear Device Cache: I removed both devices from my system and waited a few minutes before attempting to pair them again.
- Sequential Pairing: I paired the first device successfully, then moved on to the second one. This time, both devices connected without any issues.
It turns out that sometimes, a clean slate is all that’s needed. I’m thrilled to have both devices working together now. It’s been a great addition to my smart home setup!
If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I’d recommend trying a network reset and sequential pairing. It worked wonders for me. Happy smart home tinkering! ![]()
