Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with removing 3M adhesive tape from my WyzeCam after some trial and error. I initially used the included 3M tape to mount my camera on the glass, but when I decided to move it, the tape was really stubborn! I tried using Command strips as a replacement, but they didn’t work out as expected.
After some research, I found that using a hairdryer to gently heat the tape made it much easier to peel off without damaging the glass. It’s a simple tip, but it saved me a lot of frustration! If anyone else is struggling with adhesive residue, I highly recommend this method. It’s safe and effective.
Now that the tape is gone, I’m looking forward to trying out some new mounts or maybe even a different adhesive solution. If you have any other tips or tricks, I’d love to hear them! Happy tinkering!
