Successfully Resolving Arlo Pro 5S Offline Issue

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Arlo Pro 5S cameras. After about 18 months of reliable service, all my cameras went offline during the weekend. The Arlo Doorbell still worked fine, but the Pro 5 cameras were disconnected from the iPhone app. I was using a dual-frequency Wi-Fi router with the same SSID for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. The cameras were connected with strong signals, but they kept timing out after 20-30 seconds. I tried disabling the 5 GHz frequency and reconnecting the cameras, but the issue persisted. I suspected a problem with Arlo’s servers. After some research and troubleshooting, I found that resetting the cameras and ensuring they were connected exclusively to the 2.4 GHz network resolved the issue. I’m relieved everything is working smoothly again and wanted to thank the community for the helpful tips and support. It’s great to have these cameras back online and contributing to my smart home setup!
