Successfully Resolving Pushover Notifications Issue

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with Pushover notifications in case it helps others facing similar issues. I was suddenly flooded with multiple door open notifications per minute, despite the door being closed and the sensor working correctly. This was quite perplexing and disruptive.

I reached out to Pushover support, who confirmed the issue originated from my Hubitat setup. I tried several troubleshooting steps, including deleting and recreating the Pushover API key and disabling the notification rule. However, the notifications persisted even after deleting the rule, which was unexpected.

In a last-ditch effort, I decided to completely remove the Pushover driver from Hubitat. Surprisingly, this didn’t stop the notifications immediately. I then deleted the API key again and created a new one, reinstalling the Pushover driver and reconfiguring the notification rules. To my relief, the issue resolved itself after this thorough process.

While I’m still unclear on the exact cause, this workaround proved effective. I’m now confident in my setup and appreciate the community’s support in similar situations. If anyone else encounters this, I hope my experience provides some guidance!
