Successfully Resolving Wyze Cam Pan Issues

I wanted to share my recent experience with the Wyze Cam Pan, as I believe others might find this helpful. Last week, my Wyze Cam Pan suddenly stopped working and wouldn’t connect to my network. I was quite frustrated, especially since it serves as a baby monitor. After some research and troubleshooting, here’s what worked for me:

  1. Factory Reset: I started by performing a factory reset on the camera. This involved holding down the power button for about 10 seconds until the LED turned red, then releasing it. The camera restarted and entered setup mode.

  2. Reinstallation: I uninstalled the Wyze app from my phone and reinstalled it. This helped clear any cached data that might have been causing issues.

  3. Manual Setup: Instead of using the app’s auto-discovery feature, I manually entered the camera’s IP address into the app. This was a bit tricky but worked wonders!

  4. Firmware Update: Once connected, I checked for firmware updates within the app. Updating the firmware to the latest version seemed to stabilize the connection.

  5. Network Stability Check: I also ensured that my Wi-Fi network was stable and that the camera was within a good range. Moving the camera slightly closer to the router helped improve connectivity.

After following these steps, my Wyze Cam Pan is now working perfectly again. I’m relieved and grateful to have this reliable monitor back in action. If anyone else is facing similar issues, I hope this solution helps!

Thanks to the supportive community for all the helpful tips I came across while troubleshooting. It’s great to know there are resources and people willing to help when things go a bit sideways. Happy monitoring everyone! :male_detective:
