Hey everyone, I wanted to share a positive experience I had with my Shelly 1PM. It was a bit of a rollercoaster, but everything worked out in the end!
Earlier this week, I noticed that my Shelly 1PM, which I’ve had for about a year, suddenly went offline. It was connected to my air conditioning unit, and I rely on it to monitor energy usage. When I checked the app, it was showing as offline, and the device was blinking a red light. I tried disconnecting it from power and reconnecting, but it still wouldn’t work properly. I was really worried it might be dead for good.
I decided to give the reset process another shot. I powered it off, waited a bit, then powered it back on and held the button five times as instructed. To my relief, the device stopped blinking and the red light stabilized. It was still offline, but I knew I was on the right track. I tried resetting it one more time, and this time, it connected right away!
I was so happy to see it back online. It’s been working perfectly ever since, and I’ve been able to monitor my AC usage without any issues. This experience taught me the importance of not giving up too easily and trying the reset process multiple times if needed.
