Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success with setting up continuous motion detection in my smart home. I’ve been trying to figure out how to keep my lights on when motion is detected and turn them off only after a certain period of inactivity. After some research and trial and error, I finally got it working!
Here’s what I did: I used the automation feature on my smart hub to create a rule that turns the lights on when the motion sensor detects movement. Then, I set a timer that turns the lights off after 15 minutes of no motion. It’s been working perfectly for the past week!
