Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience setting up my smart home cameras. It wasn’t without its hiccups, but I’m thrilled with how it all came together!
I recently purchased three pan cams, and while two of them set up seamlessly, the third one gave me quite the puzzle. After plugging it in, it just kept panning without showing the blinking yellow light that signals it’s ready for setup. At first, I was a bit worried, but I decided to take it step by step.
I started by checking the power supply and ensuring the camera was in the right position. After some research, I discovered that sometimes cameras need a bit of time to fully initialize. I gave it a little more time, and voilà! The blinking light appeared, and I was able to complete the setup. It was such a relief!
Now, I have a fantastic view of my backyard, and the motion detection works like a charm. I’ve even integrated them with my smart lights, so any movement triggers the lights to come on. It’s been a great peace of mind addition to my home.
