I just wanted to share my recent experience setting up my Pine64 with Home Assistant. It’s my first time diving into the world of smart home automation, and it’s been quite a journey!
Initially, I faced a few challenges, especially with getting the Hue lights to work seamlessly and setting up the Kodi integration. There were moments when I felt stuck, but thanks to the excellent documentation and the supportive community here, I was able to overcome each hurdle.
One particular issue was getting the lights to dim automatically when starting a movie on Kodi. After some research and trial and error, I found a great example in the documentation that guided me through the process. It was a bit tricky at first, but breaking it down step by step made it manageable.
As I continue to explore more advanced features, I know I’ll be back here for advice and guidance. But for now, I’m thrilled with how everything is coming together. The satisfaction of seeing all these devices work in harmony is truly rewarding!
