Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with setting up voice commands for my Blink doorbell. Initially, I was a bit confused because I couldn’t find the microphone settings in my phone’s Blink app. I thought maybe it wasn’t possible to talk through the doorbell, but I decided to dig deeper. After some research and reaching out to Blink support, I found out that the microphone access is handled differently on iOS devices. It turns out, I needed to go into my phone’s general settings, not the Blink app settings, to enable microphone access for the Blink app. Once I did that, the voice commands worked like a charm! It’s such a neat feature to have, especially for greeting guests without having to physically open the door. I’m really happy I figured this out and hope this helps someone else who might be struggling with the same issue.
