I also found that the placement of the dongle played a significant role in device discovery. Placing it in a central location with minimal interference helped in successfully pairing my Hue bulbs and other Zigbee devices.
For anyone struggling with device discovery, I recommend checking the debug logs for any errors or warnings. The logs can provide valuable insights into why devices aren’t being found. Additionally, using tools like Wireshark to monitor the Zigbee traffic can be incredibly helpful in troubleshooting.
