Summer is the perfect time for pool parties, and this year, I decided to take my outdoor lighting setup to the next level with Govee smart lighting. I also linked the lights to my Amazon Echo Dot, allowing me to control them with voice commands. This hands-free control is a lifesaver when you’re hosting a party and need to multitask.
Tips and Tricks
- Weatherproofing: Since my deck is windy, I made sure to secure the lights properly. Using zip ties and clips, I ensured they stay in place even during strong gusts.
- Energy Efficiency: I programmed the lights to turn off automatically after a certain period of inactivity, saving energy without compromising on the party vibe.
