Summer is the perfect time to get creative with smart lighting! I recently worked on a DIY project using the Govee Strip S lights to create a summer-themed ambiance. The goal was to bring a bit of summer magic indoors, and it turned out better than I expected! 
I started by selecting five vibrant color themes that reminded me of summer—think tropical vibes, sunset hues, and refreshing ocean tones. Each theme was programmed to automatically switch during the day, creating a dynamic and lively atmosphere. The Strip S lights were surprisingly easy to set up, and the app made adjusting colors and brightness a breeze.One of the tricks I learned was using templates to save different color combinations. This way, I can quickly switch between themes without manually adjusting each light. I also found that pairing the lights with a smart schedule really enhanced the experience—now, the lights automatically dim in the evening, creating a cozy ambiance for movie nights.The only challenge was getting the initial setup right. I had to tweak the RGB settings a few times to get the colors just right, but the Govee app’s customization options made it manageable. I’d recommend starting with a simple theme and gradually adding more complexity as you get comfortable.Overall, this project has been a fantastic way to enjoy summer all year round.
