I’m thrilled to share my recent project with the community! After working on integrating SweetHome3D with Home Assistant, I’ve developed an add-on that allows seamless export to the floor3d-card plugin. This integration makes designing and visualizing smart home layouts even more intuitive.
The add-on is still in its early stages, so I recommend testing it in a controlled environment first. While I couldn’t deploy it as an Ingress service or use a newer Tomcat base image, the core functionality works beautifully. The ability to create detailed 3D floor plans directly within Home Assistant is truly impressive and opens up endless possibilities for customizing smart home setups.
