Hi everyone, I’ve been experimenting with integrating my Switchbot Curtain 3 devices into my smart home setup. I’ve successfully connected them to my Homey hub using BLE, but I’m encountering a couple of issues that are a bit frustrating. First off, the response times when triggering actions through Homey are quite slow—up to 10-15 seconds. That’s definitely on the longer side and not ideal for seamless automation. Additionally, when I tried syncing these devices with Google Home, the curtains didn’t respond through Google Assistant. It’s a bit of a letdown since I was hoping to have a unified control system across both platforms.
I’ve spent some time researching and tweaking settings, but I haven’t found a solution yet. I’m wondering if others have experienced similar issues and if there are any workarounds or fixes that I might have missed. If not, I might have to consider returning the devices, which is not something I’m eager to do. I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated Switchbot Curtains with Google Home or has insights into improving the Homey response times.
