Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to get these three basement lights to turn on in perfect sync, but there’s always a little delay. It’s a bit frustrating because I want everything to look seamless when the motion sensor triggers them. Let me share what I’ve tried so far and see if anyone has some advice!
I have two Leviton DZ6HD Z-Wave Dimmers and one Jasco Z-Wave Motion Dimmer. I set up a rule in Hubitat to activate the motion scene when the sensor detects movement. At first, I thought maybe metering was the issue, so I enabled that, but the delay is still there. I’ve also tried tweaking the settings and even resetting the devices, but nothing seems to fix it.
I’ve heard that multicast might help with syncing devices, but I’m not entirely sure how to set that up. Does anyone have experience with multicast in Hubitat? Also, I’m curious if others have had similar issues and how they resolved them. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a different approach to creating the scene.
