Syncing Zigbee Lights for Seamless Control

Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and wanted to share my experience with syncing a pair of Sylvania LEDVANCE RGBW Zigbee lights. If you’ve ever struggled with getting multiple lights to work in unison, this might be helpful!

I recently set up a new Raspberry Pi 4B with Raspbian Buster, and I was determined to replicate the seamless control I had with my old setup. The challenge was getting two lights in the same fixture to change colors simultaneously. At first, I was stuck controlling them individually, which was frustrating given their shared space.

After some research and tinkering, I discovered that using the AltUI plugin with openLuup was the key. It allowed me to group the lights and control them as a single entity. The process involved a bit of trial and error, but the result was worth it—now, adjusting one light automatically mirrors on the other!

I’d love to hear if anyone has tips or tricks for syncing devices, especially across different brands. It’s amazing how these small tweaks can make a big difference in home automation. Keep experimenting and sharing your experiences—let’s keep the smart home community thriving! :rocket:
