Hi everyone, I’ve been using the Tado thermostat for a while now, and I really love its smart features. However, there’s one thing that’s been bugging me, and I’m hoping someone might have a solution or workaround.
When I turn off a timed heating segment, it’s supposed to revert to the existing settings when turned back on. But instead, it always goes back to the default 21°C, which isn’t ideal for us since we almost never set it to that temperature. This means I have to manually adjust it every time, which is a bit of a hassle.
I reached out to Tado support, and they mentioned that this is intentional design, suggesting manual temperature changes instead. While that works for one-off adjustments, it’s not practical for weekly scheduling. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this and if there’s a way to set a custom default temperature for each room.
Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! Let’s see if we can find a smarter way to handle this together.
