Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone can shed some light on an issue I’m having with my newly installed Tado wireless starter kit V3+. I recently moved into a home with an older Worcester Greenstar Ri boiler and a separate hot water tank. The hot water is working perfectly, but I’m having trouble getting the boiler to heat the radiators. Even though the app shows it’s on, the boiler doesn’t seem to respond. When I test it manually, it works for three minutes, but that’s it. I’m really confused because everything else seems to be in order.
The issue seems to stem from the manual radiator valves. I read somewhere that manual valves might not be compatible with Tado systems, but I’m not entirely sure if that applies to all Tado setups or just their smart valves. I have manual valves on all my radiators, so I’m wondering if that’s the root of the problem.
This is really frustrating because I was so excited to try out the Tado system. I feel like I might have to go back to my old setup and get a refund, but I really want to make this work. If anyone has any advice or has experienced something similar, I’d be incredibly grateful. Thanks in advance for your help!
