Hello All. I have three Temp/Humidity sensors. Two show up in my Aqara Home app, but the third one, I could only get to work with Zigbee, though Home Assistant. What did I do wrong? There were several weeks between purchasing the first two and the third, so I must have forgotten something.
@parnold It sounds like the third sensor might not have been properly added to your Aqara Hub through the Aqara Home app. Let’s walk through the standard setup steps to check if something was missed:
First, ensure you’re using the Aqara Home app (or Aqara app, as these are the only supported apps for this function) . Open the app, tap “Home” then the “+” icon in the top right to enter the “Add Device (Accessory)” page, and select “Temperature and Humidity Sensor” to follow the in-app instructions .
If the connection fails, common issues could be:
- The sensor is too far from the Hub—try moving it closer .
- The Hub already has over 32 accessories connected (this is the maximum supported) .
Since the sensor works via Zigbee in Home Assistant, it’s likely functional, but pairing it through the Aqara Home app first should get it recognized in the app. Give these steps a try and let us know if it helps
What did you do for troubleshooting and binding it?
