Hi all, I’m currently exploring options for a temperature and humidity sensor with an external probe. My goal is to monitor conditions for two white’s tree frogs, and I prefer something that supports LAN access rather than relying on the cloud. I’ve been using an Aqara Xiaomi sensor inside a metal enclosure, but it tends to disconnect periodically, likely due to poor signal strength. I suspect an external probe setup would be more reliable.
Has anyone had success with similar setups? I’m particularly interested in recommendations for sensors that are reliable and offer the functionality I need. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
