Just got my Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1. I want it to trigger the exhaust fan in the bathroom when showering. I’m using Apple Home Kit for my automations. I have a Meross smart plug that I want to use with the fan.
I’ve used the Meross brand within Home Kit a fair bit and they work well with Home Kit.
I can see the humidity measured by the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1. I have set an automation in Home Kit to turn the Meross plug on when it reaches 50%, but it doesn’t turn the plug on, even though the humidity has gone up to 85%.
I’ve tested the switch with another sensor, a motion one, and it trigger with that.
Is there something that I am not doing?
I have tried with another humidity sensor, HomePod Mini and still nothing.
