Temperature & Motion Sensor Automation Success Story

I recently set up a smart home automation system that combines temperature sensors with motion detectors, and I wanted to share my experience! :thermometer::sparkles:

The idea was to have my living room heater automatically turn on when the temperature drops below 15°C and motion is detected. After some trial and error, I finally got it working perfectly! :tada: The heater stays on until the temperature reaches 16°C or the motion sensor stops detecting activity. It’s amazing how seamless this integration is now. :+1:

For anyone looking to implement something similar, I’d recommend using a reliable temperature sensor like the DS18B20 and pairing it with a motion detector. The key was ensuring the script logic was solid to handle both conditions simultaneously. :memo:

This setup has been a lifesaver during the colder months, especially when I come home late and want the room to warm up automatically. It’s little touches like these that make smart home technology truly worthwhile! :house_with_garden::fire:

If anyone has questions or needs help setting something like this up, feel free to reach out! I’d be happy to share more details or troubleshoot any issues. :hugs:
