After years of using various temperature sensors, I’ve found the Xiaomi Aquara sensors to be quite reliable. However, they can be a bit temperamental at times. If you’re experiencing connectivity issues, I recommend checking the firmware updates and ensuring they’re placed in optimal locations for signal strength.
For those looking for alternatives, the Iris Gen2 and Gen3 sensors have been a great addition to my setup. They offer consistent performance and include temperature monitoring, which is a bonus. I’d love to hear about others’ experiences and any tips for maintaining reliable sensor connections!
