Temperature sensor that works outdoor with a temp. range from 0°F to 110°

Hello,

I am seeking an outdoor temperature sensor compatible with HomeKit that can automate the transition from my heat pump to a boiler when the outdoor temperature falls below 14°F. This is necessary because the efficiency of my heat pump diminishes at this temperature. Unfortunately, I have a history of neglecting to manually switch the system.

Given the exceptional performance of my Aqara products, I am hopeful that they will soon introduce a new outdoor temperature sensor. I would be grateful if anyone else who may benefit from this information could share their thoughts.

Great suggestion @dodonot , I’m searching for one too, but I would like something more than temperature, like anemometer and rain gauge, to control also outdoor lighting, blinds or awnings

I’d love a sensor that would work down to at least -20c with decent battery life. I’d like to monitor freezer temps and trigger a high temp alert. I’ve tried the existing aqara temp sensor and the battery doesn’t last more than a month. Need bigger batteries or an AC power hook up
