I’ve been exploring the automation features of my smart home system, and I’ve come across something that’s been a bit puzzling. All my sensors display temperatures in Fahrenheit, which is what I’m used to, but when I try to set up an automation rule, the only option available is to input the temperature in Celsius. Why is that? I’ve looked through the settings, but I can’t find a way to change this. It’s a bit frustrating because I’m not as comfortable working in Celsius, and it adds an extra step to convert the temperatures every time I want to set up a rule.
I’d really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this. Is there a setting I’m missing, or is there a workaround to use Fahrenheit directly in automation rules? I’m not sure if this is a common issue or if it’s specific to my setup. Either way, having the option to work in Fahrenheit would make creating automations a bit more seamless for me.
In the meantime, I’ve been manually converting the temperatures, but it’s not ideal. I wonder if others have encountered this and how they’ve handled it. Maybe there’s a feature request or a community solution that I haven’t come across yet. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
Thanks in advance for any help or insights you can provide. It’s great to be part of such a supportive community!
