Hello community, I’m reaching out for some guidance with the Tesla binding in OpenHAB 2.5. I recently upgraded to OH2.5.0 Stable on Windows 10 and encountered an issue with my Tesla Model S integration. While the Tesla account thing connects successfully, adding the car thing results in an ‘UNINITIALIZED - HANDLER_INITIALIZING_ERROR’.
I noticed that the Model X appears twice, but my vehicle is a Model S. I manually added both ‘Tesla S’ and ‘Tesla S 2’, but both remain uninitialized. The logs show NullPointerExceptions and warnings about missing channel types. I’ve tried enabling ‘Allow Wake-up’ and updating the binding to 2.5.1, but the issue persists.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on resolving the initialization error or correcting the vehicle model in the binding would be greatly appreciated. I’m eager to get this working to monitor my car’s battery level and other stats. Thanks in advance for your support!
