I wanted to share my successful experience integrating the Tesla Powerwall with Home Assistant. After some initial challenges with older versions, upgrading to 2019.9 made everything much smoother. Here’s what I did:
- Grid Consumption: Powerwall Site Import
- Return to Grid: Powerwall Site Export
- Solar Production: Powerwall Solar Export
- Home Battery Storage: Battery Import and Export
It’s amazing to see everything working seamlessly now. A huge shoutout to @shanelord for their setup, which gave me confidence in this approach. Here’s a screenshot of my dashboard after the upgrade:
The only thing I’m still tweaking is the CO2 Signal integration, but overall, I’m thrilled with the results!
