I walk into my apartment after work, door unlocks via Aqara Smart Lock, hallway lights fade on, AC turns on if it’s above 25°C (thanks temp sensor!), and my chill playlist starts on my HomePod Mini. All triggered by me just opening the door. No tapping, no speaking, just pure home magic.
I use HomeKit to link everything up, and the Aqara sensors are the real MVPs here. Especially the motion and contact sensors — super responsive. I even have lights slowly dim at night if no one’s detected in the living room for 30 mins. It’s wild how automated things can feel once it all clicks.
