Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a fun idea I had while using my GOVEE lights. You know how sometimes you’re just hanging out with your lights on, and you think to yourself, ‘Wouldn’t it be awesome if I could sync the music mode to this one control box!’ Well, I’m not the only one, right? I think so many people would love this feature because it doesn’t require buying a separate sync box and saves space.
I reached out to GOVEE about this idea, but I’m still waiting to hear back. It’s been two days since I tried redeeming my portable lamp on Amazon, and no luck yet. Any ideas why?
In the meantime, I’ve been experimenting with using my phone as a notification proxy for my smart home gadgets. It’s been a fun challenge, and I’ve managed to push notifications from my Nest Hello doorbell to OpenHAB. If anyone has tips or tricks for making this setup even smoother, I’d love to hear them!
