The M100 doesn’t seem to have an option to change the Thread channel. I forced it to do so by setting up multiple Thread networks until it created one with a channel that was acceptable, but is there a way to actually specify a Thread channel?
@lj_aqara It seems like you’re trying to find a way to specify a Thread channel on the M100. Based on the reference information, when a Border Router device like the M100 creates a new Thread network, it automatically selects the least busy channel and a PAN ID not used by other networks during initialization. This means there isn’t a manual option to specify a Thread channel directly. Instead, the device is designed to optimize the network by choosing the most suitable channel available at the time.
I understand this might not be ideal if you’re looking for more control over the channel selection. @lj_aqara I’m sorry, but the reference information currently available doesn’t mention whether the M100 supports specifying a Thread channel or how to do so. It’s great that you found a workaround by setting up multiple networks—thanks for sharing that tip!
