I’ve been using a smart vacuum for a while now, and I wanted to share a tip that might help others facing similar issues. When I first set up my vacuum on hardwood floors, docking was seamless. However, when I moved it to a carpeted area, I noticed the vacuum would continuously dock, connect briefly, and then move away, repeating this until the battery died. After some troubleshooting, I realized the issue was with the charging dock tilting on the carpet, causing misalignment of the charging plates.
To fix this, I placed a small object (about 3/4" thick) behind the charging dock to elevate it slightly and ensure it sat on a flatter surface. This adjustment has worked perfectly for me! While I think an upgraded charging dock would be a good long-term solution, this workaround has been a lifesaver in the meantime.
If anyone else has experienced similar issues, I’d love to hear your solutions or experiences! ![]()
