I live in a busy area, and parking my car each day can be a real hassle. I often park in different spots, and by the next morning, I can’t remember exactly where I left it. To solve this, I thought about using a tracking device, but I really want something that integrates seamlessly with my Home Assistant setup.
I’ve looked into Airtag and Smat tag 2, but from what I’ve read, they don’t work well with HA. I was hoping there might be another device that’s compatible or maybe a workaround someone has discovered.
The ideal solution for me would be something that doesn’t need real-time tracking but can at least remember where I last left my car. I don’t need anything too fancy—just a reliable way to find my car without having to search the entire parking lot every time.
If anyone has any suggestions or has successfully integrated a tracking device with HA, I’d love to hear about your experiences. I’m really looking forward to finding a solution that makes my mornings a bit less stressful!
